Fresh baked burger buns worthy of your summer barbecuing.
5 cups flour
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
2 1/2 cups full cream milk
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup honey
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp butter
seeds of choice
Combine the bread flour, yeast, egg, and cream in a stand mixer using the dough atachment.
Once incorporated, add the salt, honey, oil, and butter, mixing again.
Roll the dough out on a flat surface and then let rest in an oiled and covered bowl until doubled in size.
Roll the dough out into a log and cut into equal portions. Pinch the portions into balls.
Let the dough balls rest covered until doubled in size.
Wash the dough balls with an egg wash consisting of an egg combined with a tablespoon of water.
Cook in a pre-heated 180º oven for 20-30 minutes.
