This herb roasted turkey is sufra perfection.
1 kilo turkey breast
3 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves
Mix the butter and olive oil with the salt, pepper, parsley, zaatar, paprika, lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic.
Cut slits into the turkey breast, filling them with sliced garlic.
Cover the breast with the herbs and butter, place in the fridge to marinate overnight.
In a large pan, heat some butter with bay leaves, whole peppercorns, and salt. Cook the breast for several minutes on each side until browned.
Add a cup of water and allow the turkey breast to absorb it.
Place mixed vegetables and the garlic head cut in half into a baking dish. Our baking dish was provided by Villeroy and Boch Egypt.
Place the breast atop the bed of vegetables and cook in a 200º oven for an hour.
Turn the broiler on for 30 additional minutes.
Slice the breast while still hot and serve immediately.
