Bascota’s New District 5 Bakery Puts Egyptian Farms on the Menu

Bascota has opened its latest location at District 5, bringing its homegrown, farm-to-table bakery concept to New Cairo.

Created by Egyptian creative entrepreneur Amir Mostafa, better known as Amir Fayo, Bascota builds its menu around local produce and the farms behind it. Freshly baked breads and pastries sit alongside sandwiches, desserts, juices and coffee, with Egyptian ingredients running through the offering.

The District 5 branch is open daily from 8:30 AM to midnight, covering everything from an early coffee and pastry to sandwiches, dessert and something sweet to take home.
