Farm 155 Is All About Growing Your Own Microgreens at Home

Why have regular-sized veggies when microgreens are not only cute but also super rich in nutrients?

Staff Writer

Everyone was up to something in quarantine. Some of us tried to learn how to cook without burning our kitchen, others got into gardening and growing their own produce. We're here to talk about the latter, mostly because Farm 155 is introducing a new concept where you don't just grow veggies and greens, but you can also grow healthy AF microgreens.

Farm 155 is a family-run business that started out a few years back with Ehab Hassouna's journey of becoming a vegetarian. "With lots and lots of research, I started reading about nutrition and decided to take in microgreens, due to the high amount of nutrients found in them," he explains.

Hassouna then started distributing some of his produce to his family and friends. Due to the high demand he finally decided to launch the concept of Farm 155. The brand is not just about eating all dem greens, but mostly about experiencing growing your own food. How cool is that? All you need to do is order your greens, give them some sunlight, water, time (and some love--duhh) and start harvesting cause you’ll definitely need this for your next salad.

And to make sure that everything is locally produced, Farm 155 only plants in reusable pots that are made here in Om El Donia.

You can order your microgreens through Elmazr3a.com and start growing your own produce. Make sure to order yourself a batch of their arugula microgreens because they are delish and packed with tons of flavours.
