IKEA Shares the Recipe for Its Iconic Swedish Meatballs
Now, as families stay in amid the coronavirus pandemic, heading to CFC to have their meatballs seems almost impossible tbh.
Remember when you would wander around IKEA's maze for so long that you worked up an appetite? Actually, scratch that. You knew full well what you were doing to yourself and you wanted to work up an appetite so you can treat yourself to their iconic Swedish meatballs.
Now, as families stay in amid the coronavirus pandemic, heading to CFC to have their meatballs seems almost impossible tbh. The Swedish furniture maker, however, decided to give the world just what it needed - their very recipe so you can all make it at home. Oh, and they are obvs sharing it in true IKEA fashion (see below).
“We know that some people might be missing our meatballs, which is why we’ve released an at-home alternative which, using easily accessible ingredients, will help those looking for some inspiration in the kitchen,” said Lorena Lourido, country food manager at IKEA, in a press release.
“Staying at home can be hard, but we want to help make everyone’s lives that little bit easier and more enjoyable. Bon appétit or, smaklig måltid, as we say in Sweden!”
