Food, music and charity collide this Saturday at the International Food Fair 2020.

Staff Writer

It’s not every single day that you get the chance to mix and match a bunch of different food from several different countries, but this Saturday, March 7th, from 11 am to 3 pm, you will get the chance to satisfy that craving at the International Food Fair 2020. Hosted by Dancing Bean Espresso in one of Maadi’s oldest churches, St. John’s Church, which should come as no surprise, since they are renowned for their diversity, hosting congregations in many languages and for a variety of cultures -- spanning from Arabic to English to even Korean. So it makes sense that they will be serving food from several nationalities, such as British, Chinese and Korean.

If the promise of great food wasn’t enough, the event also doubles as a fundraiser for local charities across Cairo and you will also be able to enter into a raffle. Winners of the raffle can win from a wide array of prizes such as a gym membership, a six-person bus tour of Cairo, an antique book about Egypt or various vouchers.

To keep you entertained while you stuff your face they will also feature performances from local and international choirs, as well as local artist Hamed el Sayeh.

Adult tickets (200 LE) allow you to sample five different kinds of international cuisines while the children’s ticket (100 LE) allows for two. Click here for more info about the event.
