Meat Town Is Cairo's Newest Butcher Shop You'll Want to Live in

The meat producers have been pushing for the farm-to-table concept, something Egypt needs to do more of.

While the lockdown stresses has officially been taken off of our backs, we are all still trying to keep our distance from Miss Rona by staying home to keep everyone else safe. Brands all across the country has taken it upon themselves to make sure that their products and services are all available via delivery. This is where Meat Town comes in to make all of your carnivorous dreams come true...from the comfort of your own couch. Or bed. Or whatever tbh.

Islam Shafik, Ahmed Gamal and Karim Othman are the masterminds behind Cairo's newest butcher shop. The three friends, who currently act as mayors of Meat Town (they probz exchange shifts and stuff), have decided to change the way we see meat in the capital by pushing for their farm-to-table concept. Paired with their knowledge and extensive background in breeding cows and sheep, this dream team has managed to do just that by, well, bringing Meat Town to life. 

Othman tells us that their number one priority is to have a completely non-preservative feeding process, which automatically ensures the high quality cuts that they produce. Unlike some of the butcheries in the market, the Meat Town offers complete transparency to their consumers. If you simply want to anything, just ask them. 

These meat whisperers' specialty lies in their premium cut rib-eye steaks and lamp chops. "Our lamb chops come all the way from Marsa Matrouh," he tells SceneEats. "Fun fact: Marsa Matrouh implements the grass-feeding technique to all its sheep and only that, which is what we're all about."

Now to order yourself some of that Meat Town experience, hit them up on their DM's. At the moment they only deliver within Nasr City, Heliopolis, New Cairo, Mokttam, Obour, Sherouk and Madinty.
