Mistiqa Garden Brings Its North Coast Calm to El Gouna

After decades on the coast, Mistiqa Garden heads to El Gouna — same energy, new backdrop.

Some places don’t need to prove longevity — they wear it. Mistiqa Island has been part of the North Coast vocabulary long enough to skip introductions. You know the one: late lunches that stretch into golden hour, the low hum of conversation, the unspoken rule that nothing here happens fast.

Now it’s heading south. El Gouna gets the new outpost, and with it, that same rhythm Mistiqa built its name on — breezy tables, seafood that speaks quietly, and a crowd that knows how to do weekends properly. The design keeps the island DNA intact: bleached wood, linen that’s seen sun, glassware that fogs before you even touch it.

The menu plays memory and muscle. The meat is grilled the way it always was — smoke, salt, done. The pasta still tastes faintly of the sea. Even the salads have attitude; crisp, unfussed, local. There’s no pressure to reinvent when you’ve already outlasted three restaurant trends and an entire beach club era.
