Rino's Pizzeria Opens Its First Branch in Cairo
After its debut in Sahel, the pizzeria's long-awaited Cairo branch has just opened in Kode Sports Club, New Cairo.
Rino’s sourdough pizzas first appeared in Diplo on the North Coast, where Ramy Rainier quietly tested the concept as a summer experiment alongside his other full- and part-time pursuits—modelling, running a micro-bakery, photographing weddings and collecting watches. Beachgoers were met with piping hot, meticulously crafted pizzas that quickly built a following.
Ramy Rainier is the man behind Rino’s Pizzeria. When we last sat with him in May, he spoke about his vision for Rino’s first Cairo location: a single, hulking brick oven designed as a kind of live-performance altar where pizza-makers would work like theatre actors—flipping dough, coaxing flames and drawing diners in as their audience. Six months later, that vision has taken shape at Rino’s first permanent home in Kode Sports Club in New Cairo, offering everything Diplo fans loved and more.
