Sense Specialty Coffee is Pouring Matcha Over Soft Serve

As Cairo's summer temperatures continue their annual climb, Sense Specialty Coffee has decided to respond accordingly. The specialty coffee spot has just introduced a new seasonal treat they're calling the Matchagato, a matcha affogato that swaps espresso for vibrant green tea.

The Matchagato pairs soft serve ice cream with freshly prepared matcha, creating a refreshing alternative to heavier summer desserts and an easy answer to anyone who's been ordering iced matchas on repeat. A cold scoop of soft serve topped with earthy, slightly bitter matcha on a scorching afternoon? It makes a strong case for itself.

The Matchagato is currently available at Sense's Palm Hills, 6 October and Maadi branches.
