Soufflé Settles the Dessert Debate With 'This or That' Box
This Ramadan, Soufflé pairs classic desserts with playful twists in the 'This or That' box
There are usually two types of people at any Ramadan gathering: the ones who stick to the classics, and the ones who show up with bold new dessert experiments. This year, Soufflé is catering to both.
The menu still features the staples everyone expects — basbousa, kunafa, bogasha and stuffed dates — but alongside them comes the new ‘This or That’ box. Instead of choosing between traditional and experimental, the box pairs each classic dessert with a creative twist, putting both versions side by side.
It’s essentially the solution to every ozooma debate: the moment when someone brings a “new take” on a classic and the entire table silently decides whether it’s brilliant or better left untouched. With this format, there’s no need to pick a side.
Soufflé has also brought back its balah el sham ice cream — which sits somewhere between tradition and reinvention, depending on who you ask.
