Wayana Tent Brings Intimate Suhoors to Baron Empain Palace

Tucked within Helioplisis’s Baron Empain Palace, Wayana Tent is offering an intimate space to gather with family, friends, over the gentle, late-night rhythm of a proper Egyptian suhoor.

Rawan Khalil

This year, the most enchanting suhoor in Cairo awaits in the shadow of a legend. Tucked within the grounds of Helioplisis’s fabled Baron Empain Palace —a structure that has long held Cairo’s gaze with its sandstone mystery— the Wayana Tent offers a reprieve from the frantic cycle of Ramadan plans. It is a project by Dino Activations offering an intimate space to gather with family, friends, and perhaps even new companions, over the gentle, late-night rhythm of a proper Egyptian suhoor.

The palace, with its silent towers and century of stories, provides a breathtaking setting of living history. But within the tent, the focus turns warmly human, with the generous flavours of a traditional suhoor, served and shared with sincere ease.
