These Are Literally the Only Spots in Egypt That Serve Pho
You're absolutely welcome.
Pronounced "phah" rather than "pho," the iconic Vietnamese dish is basically a savoury broth with slices of beef and slurpy rice noodles. It is absolutely delicious. Business Insider even named it as the number one street food dish in the world a couple of years back. The only problem we have with pho in Egypt is that it's really, really hard to find a restaurant that serves it.
We here at SceneEats have ventured out to scour Om El Donia for any establishment that makes the yummy creation. Below are literally the only places where you can find pho.
Nairu // Giza
2019 has gifted us with so many beautiful things, Nairu was one of them. Located on the First Nile Boat, a new concept by the Four Seasons, the Pan-Asian restaurant serves all kinds of stuff -- pho happens to be among them. You can find it on their soup menu.
Address: 136 Nile Street, aboard the First Nile Boat, by Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence

Jars to Go // Delivery Only
You can order their insta pho jars by sliding into their DMs...or heading to Maadi's El Market.

Saigon // El Gouna
This spot happens to be the only spot that's not in Cairo, which is honestly amazing because everyone deserves to also have pho when in El Gouna. We stan Saigon because it's a Vietnamese restaurant that has made a very big name for itself within the last few years, especially when it's a hard thing for Asian restaurants to shine if they're not Chinese, Japanese or Indian.
Address: Abu Tig Marina, El Gouna
