Cairo’s Churrito Just Dropped Cheese Churros

Egypt’s authentic Spanish churro spot Churrito just dropped some very Egyptian churros.
Their new Cheese Churros are made up of freshly fried in Spanish dough, stuffed with melted cheese and zaatar. It’s not traditional, but it’s very Cairo-coded.

The spot usually serves churros as a form of dessert, with afresh layer of sugar and/or cinnamon and an array of sweet dipping sauces. This addition marks a step into more savoury territory.

The Cheese Churros are available at their branches in District 5 New Cairo, Arkan Plaza, Sheikh Zayed, and The Garden, Nasr City.
