What’s better than cooking? Oh wait, watching a film about cooking, duh! The Japanese film, A Tale of Samurai Cooking: A True Love Story, is here playing for the first time ever in Zamalek.
The movie flew all the way from Japan to play at the Cairo Opera House! Directed by the oh so talented Yuzo Asahara, this traditional Japanese story-line revolving around a gifted young women who is suddenly forced to teach her amateur cook of a husband to run his heirs reputation as a prominent chef, will for sure grab your attention.
The Japan Foundation will be playing this film on Thursday, February 27th at 7:30 PM as part of Japan Movie Week. Oh, and did we mention it’s free of admission? If that hasn’t got you hooked, then we don’t know what will. Ditch your normal weekend plans, grab bae, and head to the Opera!
