Chocolate Factory Launches a Ladies-Only Breakfast Club

Chocolate Factory has taken a familiar social arrangement - the weekday breakfast between women - and given it a standing reservation. Launched on September 20th, the artisanal chocolatier’s CF Ladies Breakfast Club turns the ordinarily informal promise of “coffee soon” into something with fixed hours and chocolate attached.

At its centre is the Chocolate Croffle, a meeting of croissant and waffle in which laminated dough is pressed until its ridges crisp, then placed within Chocolate Factory’s natural jurisdiction. Each is served with a complimentary espresso, cappuccino or Americano: a compact breakfast built around the pairing of bitter coffee and chocolate rather than the usual architecture of eggs, toast and good intentions.

The offer is available from Sunday to Thursday, between 10 AM and noon, and exclusively to groups of two women or more. The condition is less arbitrary than it first appears. This is breakfast conceived as a social appointment, intended for conversations requiring another person, a table and considerably more time than the coffee itself takes to finish.

The CF Ladies Breakfast Club is available at Chocolate Factory’s Korba, City Centre Almaza and Mall of Arabia branches. For two hours each morning, the chocolatier is making a persuasive case for moving coffee plans out of the group chat and into the day.
