Hands 2 Help: The Local Brand Making Sauces and Helping Women Start Businesses

So many people try to give a hand to the less fortunate all year long. Whether it’s with donations, food or teaching people in need. Not only how to read and write, but also how to make use of their skills and talents to help provide for themselves and their families. Hands 2 Help is literally giving hands to help by supporting a group of women to start their first project. 

Hoda Dahroug is the great mind behind this project. With sauces, soups and salad dressings, she aims to provide a fixed monthly income for these women. By teaching them the necessary skills and providing them with the financial support and doing their marketing, Dahroug wants to make the whole process of starting a project for these women a whole lot easier. Hands 2 Help was motivated by Dahroug's mother who used to financially support the very same group. "I had promised my mother before her passing in October 2019 to continue supporting these women,‟ she tells us. The concept of Hands 2 Help was also influenced by her experience in sustainable development for 13 years. She explains how thethe concept of helping this group of women with little to almost no income at all, is the main idea behind Hands 2 Help.
