‘Hawawshi Company’ is New Cairo’s Brand New Hawawshi Spot

Here at SceneEats, we believe there are two types of people in the world: people who will forever cherish hawawshi, and liars (unless you’re vegan or vegetarian of course, which we also stan, don’t @ us). That’s why we were pretty stoked to here that New Cairo just got a brand new hawawshi spot – Hawashi Company - which is coming through with the unrivaled warmness and comfort that accompanies a traditional regheef (or loaf) of hawawshi.

Boasting a short and sweet menu – much like the lovely simplicity that is hawawshi – the restaurant offers two main types of hawawshi: beef and sogo’. The beef hawawshi is available in OG classic form, as well as with various add-ons like cheese, veggies and even basterma. As for their sogo’ hawawshi, you can also get it with the same extras. If you’re not a fan of hawawshi at all (again, don’t know her) then you can opt for a good old kofta sandwich.
