House Babylon's Next Supper Club Heads to Athens
The Cairo-born supper club is taking over an Athens rooftop for an evening inspired by Alexandria's stories and flavours.
Alexandria has spent centuries exporting things. Poets, memories, love stories, existential crises. This month, it's exporting dinner too.
On June 29th at 8 PM, Cairo-based lifestyle brand House Babylon will bring its travelling Supper Club series to Athens for Letters From Alexandria, an evening inspired by the Mediterranean city's layered identity and long history. Hosted on the rooftop of Athens Insider Collective and created in collaboration with Pullman Club, the gathering takes its cues from the Alexandria of café conversations, sea journeys, faded memories and the poetry of Constantine P. Cavafy.
The event marks House Babylon's second collaboration with Pullman Club following a previous supper club in Cairo. Conceived by House Babylon founder Mariam El Shafie, whose work often explores the relationship between home, hospitality and cultural storytelling, the series extends the brand's universe beyond design and into shared dining experiences.
For Letters From Alexandria, guests will be served a set menu by chef Kostas alongside a live performance by Egyptian experimental musician Nada El Shazly.
