Karen Wazen’s Favourite Cookie Brand is Popping Up in Cairo
The viral Dubai cookie brand Aftertaste by Noura is bringing its cult-favourite flavours to Cairo for a limited-time pop-up.
Aftertaste by Noura, the Dubai-based cookie brand that went viral after Lebanese designer Karen Wazen shared a taste test on Instagram, is heading to Cairo for a limited-time pop-up.
Founded by Noura Nasreddine, a Lebanese Le Cordon Bleu Paris graduate, the brand is known for its freshly baked, indulgent cookies, prepared daily and packaged in stainless steel tins finished with playful stickers.
The lineup starts with The OG, a vanilla-based cookie packed with dark and milk chocolate chips, balancing a soft centre with crisp edges. Pistachio Kunafa layers crispy kunafa with Iranian pistachio butter and milk chocolate, offering a regional twist.
Other flavours include S’mores, a chocolate cookie topped with toasted marshmallow and melted chocolate; Kinder Bueno, featuring vanilla dough filled with creamy Bueno; and Peanut Butter, folded with salted roasted peanuts for a sweet-and-savoury finish.
