Odo Store is the Local Brand Making Classy Kitchenware Affordable

Making classy and affordable kitchenware a thing in Egypt— because at the moment it is definitely not— Odo Store is the Alexandria brand fashioning wooden kitchenware products designed by a food photographer. 

At just three months old, Odo Store came into creation after food photographer and stylist Mahmoud Gomaa noticed a huge gap in the local kitchenware selections. “I always found a problem in demand for high-quality kitchenware that could work for food styling and the few high-quality items were that were available were unreasonably expensive,” Gomaa told SceneEats. 

The brand currently sells coasters, cake stands, and a huge variety in cutting boards. Make no mistake, they aren’t just your average wooden boards, with every product adopting a unique, asymmetrical design. 

“We specialise in kitchenware made from high-quality wood. We might incorporate other materials into our products like brass and marble in the future, but the main material will always be wood,” Gomaa added.
