Online Alexandrian bakery Mendoza just brought its fantasy of going physical to life at open-air mall Green Plaza with a quick bippity boppity boo (and lots of hard work).

“It's definitely a dream come true,” Mendoza founder Menna Mohamed tells SceneEats. “I wanted to create a simple-but-cute, cosy environment where people can enjoy a good cup of coffee and have the best possible homemade dessert experience.”

After months of hard-earned love from Alexandria’s sweet tooth community and one fateful call from a mall owner, the brand finally put together the manifestation of their widespread popularity in the form of a pink-and-black kiosk in the heart of Alexandria's Green Plaza. On your next Saturday morning stroll or night at the movies, make sure to stop by the brand for a brownie (or a blondie, if that’s what you want to call it)
