Saudi Arabia's Iconic AlBaik is Coming to Egypt

There’s fried chicken, and then there’s AlBaik’s fried chicken that has undoubtedly ruined regular fried chicken for everyone forever. We’re here to talk about the latter. Saudi Arabia’s pride and joy is coming to Egypt…with a plot twist.

Egyptian company Halwani Bros Co. has joined forces with AlBaik to help manufacture their products in the country. They’ve even signed a non-binding preliminary agreement for an investment worth EGP one billion with Aquat Food Industries (AlBaik’s sister company) to officially own the rights to everything AlBaik.

There’s currently no news about an actual AlBaik restaurant opening in Cairo anytime soon, however, we’ll take anything AlBaik gives us at this point.
