Ted's Just Made Crème Brûlée Into Pizza

We imagine the team at Ted's looked at customers' two favourite items off their menu and thought they'd make one record-breaking foodie fave.

In the past couple of years, ever since some food blogger or the other uncovered their best-kept secret, everyone and in their mother suddenly became obsessed with Ted’s crème brûlée. There’s nothing wrong with that; in fact, there’s everything right about it – the crème brûlée in question walks the line between sweet and tangy, and simultaneously that between soft and crunchy, with an elegance that stays on your tongue long after the plate before you has been wiped clean.

We imagine that Ted’s wanted to draw people’s attention back to their main specialty and their #2 bestseller – pizza – which is why they came up with something we have truly never seen before: a crème brûlée pizza. I mean, the logic is solid; if you make two bestsellers into one it’s only sensical that it becomes an ultra-powerful bestseller.

The pizza in question is a completely normal Neapolitan, except that instead of tomato sauce and cheese, it’s covered in vanilla custard cream and a sprinkle of torched sugar.
