The UK's Iconic Italian Fine-Dining Concept Scalini to Land in Sahel

The United Kingdom’s Italian restaurant Scalini is set to make a splash in Sahel this summer and charming diners with its authentic cuisines and quintessential atmosphere, and we’re absolutely here for it.

If you aren’t familiar with Scalini, kindly sit for a quick crash course. The fine-dining eatery was established in London in 1988 where it played an influential role in the rise of Italian trattorias throughout the country and won the hearts of all your favourite celebrities that include the likes of Jude Law, Cheryl Cole, Kate Moss, Simon Cowell, among many other stans. 

In recent years, Scalini has made its way to the rest of Europe and the Middle East, with gorgeous locations in Cannes, Dubai, Istanbul, Riyadh, and Doha – all serving the same Scalini realness, food, and ethos to Italian dining. Boasting a comprehensive selection of traditional favourites with a modern twist, they aim on creating stellar dishes with the finest of ingredients, sourced directly from Italy. The carefully curated menu showcases the unbelievable gastronomical skills of award-winning chef and food personality Monserrato Marini, and invites guests to experience the true essence of rustic Italy.

Brought to you by Eatco, Scalini will be opening its first Egypt branch in Hacienda White on the North Coast this summer. They currently don’t have an exact date on when they will open, but we’ll be updating as soon as they have one. One thing is for sure, however, Scalini promises an exquisite culinary journey, bringing a taste of its diverse heritage to Om El Donia.
