This New Egyptian Smokehouse Should Be on Your Radar

Established in 2015 originally as a catering company for embassies and private charter flights, Helly’s Kitchen recently opened its virtual doors to the public and transformed into an online smokehouse where they smoke unusual foods, like fillet mignon. Would the French approve? Probably not, but hey, it works.

If red meat is not your thing, it’s okay you can still enjoy Helly’s other goods such as turkey, chicken, and shish tawook, obviously all slow-cooked and smoked in their horizontal chambers…known as smokers. The technique used is slow and easy low-temperature cooking to add that smokey flavor and tenderness to the food. 

You can top off the smoked meat with a variety of sauces (just dip everything in BBQ), and all kinds of side dishes, we’re talking, rice, salads and pastas -- it’s a whole package.
