This Zagazig Car Goes Around Giving Lentil Soup to Everyone and It’s the Most Wholesome Thing Ever
Nothing like a hot meal to make you feel better in this chilly season.
As we huddle against the cold this season in our scarves, jackets, woolly hats, woolly socks, woolly tights and our entire woolly wardrobe… it hits home that some people are actually out sleeping on the streets in this weather. This is where El Takeya El Khairy Kitchen comes in.
The Zagazig initiative has decided to to come up with an ingenious plan this winter that will not only offer warmth to people who need it, but also food at the same time. The Warmth Car, or 3arabeyet El Dafa, is their latest offering where a massive vehicle goes around Zagazig city every night at 11 pm to give hot, delicious lentil soup to everyone in their way. We don’t know about you but it’s stories like these that give us hope in humanity.
