‘Abo El Geban’ Elevates Our Fave Street Food with Cheese and We’re Living TBH
The restaurant offers a range of street food, tawagen, all with possessing one thing in common: cheesy goodness.
At SceneEats, we’re of the school of thought that anything is better with the addition of cheese. Whether melted on pizza, in hawawshi, on a sandwich or even over a bed of veggies (or just straight from the block tbh), we don’t mind. Sharing our love of cheese is ‘Abo El Geban’, (a Sharqiya-born restaurant that just landed in Cairo), letting you add cheese on all your favourite street foods.
Some of the items on offer in ‘Abo El Geban’- all with the optional cheese add-on - include the quirkily-named sandwich called ‘Gedety’ (kofta, mozzarella cheese, tomeya and fries), Geddy (hot dog, cheese, tomeya and mozzarella cheese), liver plates and sandwiches, oriental sausage, and a range of tawagen, including wara2et la7m (tender beef slices), pasta with kofta and more.
You can find Abo El Geban at 14 Attiya Al Sawahli, in front of Serag Mall in Nasr City.
