Balkan Food Makes Its Egypt Debut with Tabak

“Our inspiration came from the art of cooking, perfecting culinary skills and techniques that not only create delicious entrees but also serve as entertainment to the customers,” founder Khaled ElDegwy tells #SceneEats. “With the different cuisines, the industrial interior design, and the open-kitchen experience, our brand is setting itself apart from others in the market and providing a unique customer experience unmatched anywhere else in Cairo.”



When asked about the purpose behind the culinary choice, Tabak’s response fortified the verisimilitude of their brand philosophy, “Our purpose is the holistic, innovative fusion of cuisines and the interior to create a customer experience that goes beyond a meal. The story starts with a Tabak, but it doesn’t end there.”
