Christmas at the Cairo Marriott Is an Absolute Must This Year

You have until January 7th to enjoy their Christmas shenanigans.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Not because it's Christmas or any of that tbh. But mostly because we were bored, working from home, and stumbled upon this gem of an opportunity that cannot be missed whilst scrolling down our phones. That opportunity is Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino hotel's insane Christmas shenanigans that are going to make you wish it's Christmas all year round.

Firstly, you don't have to abide by any Christmas rule this season at their humble abode. If turkey and cranberry sauce aren't your thing, then a) Saraya Gallery's French nomnom might be, b) Instagrammable cocktails at Harry's Pub will do the trick, c) an iconic feast at Egyptian Nights that will make you live your best Egyptian Christmas life. If you, however, are a turkey and cranberry sauce person, then their Omar's Cafe is the place for you. In a nutshell, their restaurants have got your back and belly.

The Christmas Eve dinner menu consists of a seafood platter, cream of wild mushroom soup, lemon-mint sorbet, slow-roasted turkey or baked fillet salmon, mint double chocolate mousse strawberry, tiramisu, mince pie (which is not minced meat but actually is a dessert), whipped cream -- along with coffee or tea obvs. This whole extravaganza of a meal will cost you EGP 800.

If you're an outdoorsy person, their Garden Promenade Cafe is where you need to spend Christmas day. Their already-classic Promenade Fridays will be getting a festive twist where you'll get jazz music paired with some Santa vibes. Your taste buds will also be enjoying themselves because of their wide range of mezzahs, mains (roasted turkey happens to be one of them!!!) and desserts to choose from.

Our favourite find was the fact that you could stay in at one of their luxurious rooms during Christmas Eve and get breakfast for two humans along with a dinner at Saraya Gallery for only EGP 2,800. Say what???

Lastly, if you're going to be chill this Christmas weekend, then we suggest opting for The Bakery where you can gorge on their cookies, cakes, gingerbread house, mince pies and cinnamon stars.

You can enjoy the above Christmas celebrations until January 7th (except Christmas Eve, duuh).
