Mark your calendars on February 27th because you're going to need to go to the Netherlands-Flemish Institute.
Feb 09, 2020
Not many Egyptians, surprisingly, know a lot about Egyptian food. For instance, did you know that koshary is originally Indian? If the answer to the question was no, then you need to get yourself to the Netherlands-Flemish Institute on February 27th for this cool shindig.
Exploring Trends in Egyptian Food History will see Egyptologist Mennat-Allah El Dorry take you on a delish journey through Om El Donia's food. It will explore the cuisines of each phase of Egyptian history, identifying some of the highlights of each period, starting with ancient Egypt until this very living moment we're in. If this isn't a cool shindig, we don't what is.
