Fati’s Drops Sweet Potato Donuts Just in Time for Winter

And we’re holding space with that and feeling power in it.

Fati’s Chef Fatma Ahmed is no stranger to curious concoctions and clever combinations, and for her latest midnight-inspired invention, she’s bringing ‘batata’ to Fati’s bakery. While sweet potatoes - in all their glorious forms and factors - are indeed a winter staple across Egyptian households, one has hitherto never heard of batata-filled donuts, let alone sweet potato creme brulée donuts, but honestly? We’re holding space with that and feeling power in it. 

Baked, beaten (with love), and then filled into the donut, the alchemical-creation is then dipped in caramel sugar for a serious glow - and an extra kick.
