German Döner Spot Döner Könner Has Just Opened a New Branch in Maadi, and That’s the Tea
Live your ultimate doner fantasies with Döner Könner, who have just opened up a branch in Zahra El Maadi!
It sounds to us that Maadi is living its best food life right now as – after Dara Ice Cream’s recent opening in Degla - we just found out that Cairo fave German döner spot Döner Könner has touched down in the district once again, which comes as delish news for Maadi foodies especially after news of its Degla branch closing down a few months ago. Known as the first restaurant to bring German döner to Egypt, the spot opened its doors back in 2017, and currently has branches in New Cairo, Sheraton, Madinaty and now in Zahraa El Maadi.
In case you didn’t know, döner – originating from the Ottoman Empire but garnered huge popularity in Berlin - is marinated meat roasted and grilled on a spit, where layers of yumminess are cut off and usually put in a wrap or a sandwich.
To celebrate the opening and for a limited time only, the Maadi branch are offering a 15% discount on all orders with a maximum order of EGP 200.
