Giza Pyramids Will Finally Have a Food Court
That one Pizza Hut had better watch out - competition is finally on its way.
Our treasured Pyramids of Giza will be witnessing a long overdue establishment of a cafeteria and restaurant area across from the historical monuments, giving tourists a view they couldn’t have dreamed of. The development comes as a part of a major contract signed with the Supreme Council of Antiquities, who is the exclusive overseer to the project.
The new dining area comes as part of a larger plan to develop the area around the Pyramids by providing additional services like an area to buy water, and comes just before the start of the promotional campaign for the Grand Egyptian Museum.
These new services will be found between the Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum, which is also anticipating a 2km walkway connecting the two infrastructures. That one Pizza Hut had better watch out - competition is finally on its way.
