Meet the Egyptian Couple Who Engineer by Day and Bake Cookies by Night

What we're about to tell you is a story of a couple that are living a double life, hardworking engineers by morning and enthusiastic bakers by night. This story is about Hamed AlGendy and Nada Refaee, who found their love for baking cookies as a family. They started off by baking for their loved ones, then they gradually moved on to pursue this passion professionally. Fast-forward a few months, and Nude Bakery was born.

Hamed and Nada felt that the cookies in the Egypt market were too commercial and may not be made using the best ingredients, so they decided to take matters into their own hands to change this. Hamed had always been an active baker, so together with his significant other, armed with both of their scientific backgrounds, they were able to craft the perfect recipe down to the milligram. 

In the morning they go to work like any other average person, but when the clock strikes 6 pm, everything changes. They leave behind their mechanics and computers and head to their kitchen for some baking action, they tell us. It's not any different from any other superhero living a double life.

Nude Bakery offers a range of high-quality, gourmet cookies that have that heart-melting ratio of hard crust and soft centre. Their products include the speciality Milk Chocolate cookies, Double Chocolate cookies, Oreo cookies, White Toblerone (a best seller and our favourite tbh), Oats and Raisin cookies and the Peanut Butter cookies which will be debuting very soon.
