New Year, New Menu: Costa Launches a Wide Range of Vegan Items

Costa truly said inclusivity in 2022.

Kurt Galalah

Egyptian vegans are probably familiar with the feeling of wistfully checking out the innumerable vegan food alternatives available abroad: whether it’s plant-based cheese, cakes and even muffins. Over recent years, the country's food scene has really levelled up in terms of making vegans’ lives easier with a bunch of alternatives for their favourite foods. One such brand is Costa, the iconic coffee shop that wants to start 2022 saying “new year, new me.”

Their new menu sees them having plant-based milk drinks such as coconut vanilla latte, hazelnut oat milk and salted caramel almond corto. When it comes to food, you can now have grilled vegetables with vegan cheese and focaccia bread alongside orange cakes, Lebanese mixed beans salads, carrot muffins and chocolate date balls.
