Señor Churro is Cairo’s Newest Mexican Dessert Haven

The quintessential Mexican dessert of choice is being dished out piping hot at Mall of Arabia’s newest food stand Señor Churro. If you aren’t familiar with the fried snack, its safe to say you are seriously missing out.

The Mexican dessert is a fried stick doughnut coated in cinnamon sugar and filled with chocolate, dulce de leche, custard, and other gooey variations. It has roots in Spain, where its often served with melted chocolate for dipping. We like to think of it as bala7 el sham’s spicy sister. 

If that wasn’t enough to get your taste buds intrigued, the dessert is actually vegan as well. The food stand is located in Mall of Arabia’s The Park and also have savoury options like tornado potato sticks and crunchy chicken strips. They are now open for takeout, and are sticking to strict precautionary hygiene methods since reopening.
