Supper Club Caché is Hosting a Fin d'été' Dinner Series

Caché Supper Club is refusing to let summer conclude before it has been properly fed. Calendars may advance, beach houses may close and everyone may agree, with varying degrees of sincerity, that it is time to resume ordinary life, but Caché has declined to sign the paperwork.

Its end-of-summer dinner series, Fin d’Été, takes its name from the French - because resignation tends to sound better in French - and offers one last seafood-led account of the season. The menu draws on long dinners and warm nights, those leisurely summer institutions in which time becomes negotiable and nobody asks for the bill with much conviction.

The premise is not that summer can actually be prolonged, but that dinner can delay its conclusion. Seafood arrives, the evening stretches and the calendar temporarily loses jurisdiction over the table.
