Fôu’s Seasonal Menu Blossoms with Flavour this Spring
Nothing says Spring like flower-shaped desserts and seasonal fruit assortments.
It’s May, which means the sun is shining - not too hot just yet - flowers are in bloom, and birds are back to chirping on our balconies every morning. Winter is finally over, and the planet is celebrating. It seems as though cloud patisserie Fôu by Farah has decided to chime into the celebratory energy with their own tune, in the form of an elegant lineup of artisanal desserts that hold the blossoming spirit of Spring.
Now, while some might think a spring menu would be exclusively fruity, Fôu’s spring line-up is far from conventional. Sure, there's an absolutely stunning Blueberry Vanilla Charlotte cake, previously crafted in Strawberry, striking just the right balance of musky and floral - but that’s only part of the story. The patisserie unveiled a line-up featuring vanilla, chocolate, and salted caramel encrusted desserts that left us swooning.
Their chocolate pecan tart, for instance, blends three types of chocolate - milk, dark, and dulce - with the crunch of premium pecans, creating a delicious fusion of flavours. The Tête de Linotte infuses caramel with chocolate in a hazelnut brownie cake extravaganza, adorned with the bitter crunch of cocoa nibs. Most suited for spring is their Saint Honoré Tart, a flower-shaped Tonka-flavoured delicacy paired with vanilla crémeux and centred by a vibrant dollop of salted caramel.
