Coffee Berry Makes It All the Way From Greece With Two Branches in Cairo

Originating in Greece, the coffee shop has come to the rescue of caffeine-starved Cairenes in the form of branches in City Centre Almaza Mall & O1 Mall.

Okay so, real coffee is dead and every single one of us is to blame. In the world of super-sized vanilla iced lattes and the shame that is instant ahwa, we've lost touch with our better judgment as to what constitutes a real tasty cup of coffee tbh.

Resurrecting original premium coffee in the most fab way is Om El Donia's new caffeine haven Coffee Berry. Originating in Greece, the coffee shop has come to the rescue of caffeine-starved Cairenes in the form of branches in City Centre Almaza Mall & O1 Mall. Expect cosy wooden interiors that are perfect for Instas Stories and the rich aroma of coffee that'll have hypnotised like a Drowzee.

"In recent years, Egyptians have started to go out of their way for good coffee, so it was very necessary to bring the Greek franchise to Cairo," Alfred Malcon, Business Unit Head at Coffee Berry, tells SceneEats. "Our brand is going to be a game-changer because Coffee Berry is a modern coffee concept store that offers more than 20 different types of coffees, from eight types of single-origin to two house blends specially crafted for you, their own decaf house blend obvi, along with having baristas that are well trained in the arts of, well, everything coffee."

The new spot also serves a wide array of teas, sandwiches and salads, in case you happen to be stuck with a friend that might not be coffee's biggest fan -- we recommend cutting that friend out of your life tho. We also absolutely totes recommend their signature FREDDO. If you don't know what that is, it's a Greek invention that will change the lives of ice coffee stans, especially if you happen to be an espresso, latte and cappuccino fan already.
