Sheikh Zayed's La Velours Will Have You Second Guessing Your Dessert
Finally – hours of scrolling through satisfying videos on Tik Tok are paying off.

There’s no shame in admitting it, there are nights where nothing can calm our little overstimulated hamster hearts like those satisfying ASMR videos on every generic explore page. On particularly difficult nights, the strange deep dark desire to bite into a perfect ball of kinetic sand often arises. We would’ve never thought there’d be a day where that would be even remotely possible but, alas, it is, thanks to Alexandria-sourced bakery (or 3D print shop) La Velours.
Despite being accompanied by an unshakeable feeling of faint unease, the desserts of La Velours’ crumbly exterior, paired with a soft cake interior, create a beautifully complementary mixture of consistencies that make it – somehow – just right.
