Stand Aside Bon Mehaweg, Coconut is Ahwa’s Newest Fab Flavour
Cardamom couldn’t reign queen forever.
So let’s start with a quick 101 on traditional Greek coffee. It’s basically the same thing as Turkish coffee - made with a fine grind of coffee, boiled in a tall, narrow pot known as a briki and served with grounds in the cup. Now forget about that, because it’s nowhere near as cool as our latest discovery: Greek coffee with coconut. And since we’re in dire need of a vacay, why not turn our post-dinner mazag into a trip to Santorini? The coffee mix is made up of a blonde roast, with coconut flavour and coffee creamer. Not quite a poolside piña colada, but we’ll have to compromise.
