El Hadra Serves Up Falahi Deliciousness in a Tajine

Tajines are the name of the game at Cairo’s uber-authentic new food joint, El Hadra. Serving, well, everything in a clay tajine, this eatery serves classic falahi and street food favs like stuffed pigeon, molokheya, and hawawshi. 

Heck, even their warak enab comes baked in a tajine. Considering these little clay concoctions make everything taste x1000 better, we really don’t see how this can be a bad thing. The eatery also specializes in grilled meats, serving whole ducks on mountains of spiced rice and lamb legs.
