Four Seasons' First Nile Boat Italian Restaurant ‘Riva’ Opens its Doors to Neapolitan Pizza-Lovers

Brick-oven pizza lovers, rejoice. Cairo just got a lot more Italian thanks to the brand new Neapolitan pizza spot ‘Riva’, which has just opened on the Four Seasons’ at the First Residence’s First Nile Boat. The restaurant comes through with a chance to indulge in our favourite Italian dishes while overlooking a gorgeous view of the Nile. 

Some of the items you can expect to find on Riva’s no-frills menu include a selection of fresh ‘antipasto’ like bruschetta al pomodoro (bruschetta with tomato and basil), arancini al funghi (fried mushroom risotto balls), a beautiful caprese salad and burrata. The restaurant also offers a selection of Neopolitan pizza cooked in a brick oven: a classic margherita, al formaggi (ft. smoked scamorza, pecorino and Grand Pedano cheeses), a frutti de mare and schiacciata fresca pizza topped with pecorino cheese, bresaola and arugula. If you’re a bit of a sweet tooth, you can opt for their deserts like tiramsu or their special ‘very berry panna cotta.’
