Insta-Worthy, Artisanal Chocolate Bars Is What DimaDora Is All About

Move over, Willy Wonka, DimaDora has arrived!

Staff Writer

Every now and again you hear about someone quitting their big, fancy schmancy job to pursue what they actually want to. This is one of those times and Sahar El Hefnawy is that someone. Right before we entered 2021, El Hefnawy decided to leave her interior design career behind and become a full-time chocolatier by launching DimaDora.

“I’ve always loved making desserts for my daughter, Dimah and Dorah, which is how this brand came to be,” El Hefnawy tells SceneEats. “DimaDora specialises in artisanal chocolate bars and bonbons where I import all of my raw material from Belgium.”

The thing about DimaDora is that one might face a tiny, itsy, bitsy problem when facing them. What’s that, you say? The problem here is that you won’t want to eat them. Not because you’re worried about your 2021 forma, it’s because every single item on its menu is too pretty to eat.

You can get your chocolate bars filled with nuts, dried fruits or, our fav, edible flowers where they get covered in a delish layer of thick white or milk chocolate. Health & fitness stans, however, can always opt for DimaDora’s dark chocolate bars that are made with coconut flour and sugar so it’s guilt-free.

El Hefnawy told us that she’s branching into the world of catering quite soon so if you’re thinking of throwing a Willy Wonka kinda shindig, she’s your woman.
