Scrunch Is the New Local Brand Providing High-End Chocolate Barks and Nut Clusters

“The idea has been there for almost two years until Hany El Tamamy, the founder, brought it to light,” says Marwan Naim, the Business Development Manager. “It all started when Hany’s wife started making those delish snacks at home, then sharing it with her circle, to later be the core of our business.”

With “Here to Fill the Gap” as their slogan, Scrunch paired two of its main goals to build their identity. The fact that there is a wide void between international and local brands of snack bars was considered the number-one motive for Scrunch to launch their business. The founders pictured a better industry to make up for the local brands that are not so up to the standard, and be a leader in bringing these bites to reality without the need to cost you an arm for them imported goods. “The Gap” could also be the time you spend hungry between one meal and another, particularly if you’re a binge-eater just like us. So, if you want to increase your metabolic rate without having to gallop those high-calorie foods, a Scrunch-ie will definitely do.

Scrunch is kicking off with two main lines; the nut cluster, which is a cube of almond and cashew, and comes in three flavours upon your choice: cranberry, coconut or pumpkin seeds. It sure has nothing to do with granola but pure nuts mixed with honey. As well as the chocolate barks, made of the highest quality of Belgian dark chocolate, this also comes in three flavors: cranberry, almond or mint. Scrunch’s target is to commit to offering healthy nutritious meal in-betweener, yet provide their snackers with grade-A quality is their primary priority, specifically when it comes to their ingredients.
