The Three Chocolatiers: The Cairo-based Gourmet Chocolate Brand with the Ultimate Wholesome Backstory
The Three Chocolatiers is the brand new handmade gourmet chocolate brand taking Cairo by storm.
Chocolate is one of those things that are pretty damn hard to get sick of. You’re sitting in front of the TV and you pop one into your mouth – cut to 2949833 hours later you’re passed out in front of the couch – chocolate stain on your t-shirt and face, and you have no idea how this happened. Hoping to elevate the chocolate experience and make it a little more elegant The Three Chocolatiers, a brand Cairo-based gourmet chocolate brand, and we’re pretty much here for it and all it represents. The brand make all kinds of decadent chocolate plain or filled with tropical fruits, lemon, caramel, nuts and much, much more, and they don’t just look delish, but also pretty much look like pieces of art tbh.
The Three Chocolatiers was launched by mother of three in June (hence The “Three” Chocolatiers), Afaf Boctor, who decided – after her three daughters went off to university – to start finally pursue her dream of being a master chef and chocolatier by studying in London’s Le Cordon Bleu (we’re not crying, you’re crying). The brand prioritizes using premium ingredients, such as their passionfruit, raspberry puree which is sourced from Europe, and their Callebaut Chocolate from Belgium.
“After my daughters went to university, that’s when I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of making pastry, and I fell even more in love with it,” Boctor tells SceneEats, “French pastry truly honour the use of fruits and different flavours.”
For the future, The Three Chocolatiers aim to focus more on pastry by making gateaux and other goodies.
