This New Cairo Candy Store is a Storybook Come to Life
Haven’t you heard? Grimm’s Hansel and Gretel have finally, after eons of recycled storytelling, quit wandering the forests and picked up a career as entrepreneurs.

Haven’t you heard? Grimm’s Hansel and Gretel have finally, after eons of recycled storytelling, quit wandering the forests and picked up a career as entrepreneurs. Their success story is as inspiring as any. After their little, uh, hiccup with the forest witch, the twins took it upon themselves to create a space where children, naive and unsuspecting or fully aware, could visit the candy house without the threat of being cooked alive.
A stroll through the Mall of Egypt or City Centre Almaza any day of the week could have you face to face with the looming floor-to-ceiling display of candies Hans & Gretel boasts. You could also grab a chair at the fairytale-themed space and enjoy delicious chocolate-covered pancakes, ice cream of your choice or topped doughnuts with a side of escapism.
