James Kyle: The Chef Running the Show at JW Marriott Steakhouse

Located in New Cairo's JW Marriott Cairo, the restaurant itself is a piece of art, surrounding you with classical kind of magic.

Behind every magic trick, however, is a magician and in this case, the magician is Chef James Kyle, who is the subject of a new SceneEats series putting the spotlight on the best of the best culinarians in Egypt.

In the debut edition of Chef Chat, Kyle reveals some of restaurant's backstage secrets, while sharing how they source ingredients and what measures they take in maintaining high quality. Naturally, we insisted on trying as many dishes as possible (because research, obvs) and they lived up to their billing and then some. There's a reason the names of the late, great Omar Sherif and the also great but in his own kind of way Nicolas Cage are written on the restaurant's walls, a bearer of the many fans JW Steakhouse has gained over the years.
