‘Cocktails Araby’ Is the Brand New Arabic-Language Cocktail Recipe YouTube Channel, and We’re Shooketh TBH
Want to learn how to make a White Russian, Watermelon Margherita or a Cuba Libre? Then you need to check out this brand new Arabic-language cocktail recipe.
Okay, we all know that the Egyptian nightlife scene has been let’s just say – ever so slighty – below par as of late on account of the Coronavirus. Even now with bars opening up again, we still don’t know how long it will be till we can pretend to be shy but then burst out into a full-blown twerking sesh on the dance floor. Well, thanks to a brand new Egyptian YouTube channel ‘Cocktails Araby’ serving up cocktail recipe realness – which is, by the way, in Arabic – you can now bring the party to you – right from the comfort and safety of your home.
The channel – launched just two weeks ago – not only lets you in on how to make some of the world’s yummiest cocktails, but also aims to get you more cocktail-woke by providing a little bit on history and context behind each cocktail they make. For example, did you know that the Cuba Libre (rum, coke and lime) originated from the times of Cuban War of Independence, or that the Russian cocktail Yorsh (beer and vodka) is traditionally chugged down in one big gulp?
So far, the YouTube channel also shows us how to make summer-friendly Watermelon margheritas, mojitos and the classic “White Russian’ (a cocktail made with vodka, coffee liqueur and cream) and plans to release many more recipes in the future from all around the world, and we can’t wait tbh.
